Borrowed...

I borrowed this (with permission) from my best friend Brit...

Mad=Crazy, not angry...

Dear Readers, (Non-Madders)
Us mad people like to hit things... It gives us a mad rush. If you are not mad then you do not understand what I'm talking about. You would most likely look down on me because I'm really mad. Its hard being mad, we have to mold ourselves to look like you so that you won't burn us at the stake... You Non-Madders who think you're so smart believe we mad people don't know we're mad. I, a very mad person, have news for you... We know. we know that eating dog food is not the "norm". We know it and we like it very much.
So please leave us to our hitting things, our talking to ourselves, our rolling eyes, our drooling, and our eating of dog food.
If we are not hitting you or breaking your Non-Madder laws, please look the other way and mind your own beeswax.
Thank you for your understanding,
Your mad friend...

Boyfriends… and getting married.

Wednesday at Church I was talking to my bff Britt and I saw a fairy ring out in the yard, so I was like “Oh look, a fairy ring!” And Britt was all “Okay, you’re gonna hafta explain that to me ‘cuz I have no idea what you’re talkin’ about…” (Actually, she probably didn’t use that many contractions.) So I explained what a fairy ring was and she jumped in it and said “I wish I had a cute Christian boyfriend!” with a very odd scrunched up face. So I jumped in and said “Ooh, me too!”

Last class… very bittersweet…

I am in love with and want to marry the printer/fax machine at my mom’s work. It is AMAZING!! And, after we get married, we can adopt the label printer out of her desk drawer…

Yum, and other things...

I made some yummy chicken and dumplings for supper today... I think they were the best dumplings I've made in a really long time.
Life goes by fast... I noticed this recently:
It feels like just a little while ago that I started teaching a class on wednesday nights, and now this wednesday is my last class.
I'm 17!! I really can't believe that...
My cousin is getting her drivers license soon... CRAZY!

I'm starting an exercise program thing, something that will be good for both the dogs and for me. Here's hoping I stick to it. :)

I recently discovered the "playlist" option on youtube... My playlist already has more than fifty songs on it. And its a very eclectic collection... Katy Perry, Savage Garden, Josh Turner, Lady Antebellum, Snow Patrol, Tim Mcgraw, The Band Perry, Mike Tompkins and many more! And I'm starting a Christian Collection, which will include: Acappella, Guy Penrod, Bill and Gloria Gaither, and lots of others that my brain refuses to think of right now... :)

My Mudder...

So I heard today was like, a day for mom's or something? Well, if it is, I want to dedicate this post to my mum.

"Hey mom?"
"Yes?"
"I just wanted to thank you."
"What for?"
"For being my mom."
"Um, thanks?"
"Well, I saw... (Insert random crazy thing I happened to see that day.) and I am just so glad you're my mom and I wasn't raised like that."

True story. This has happened so many times that I can't even count them.

Kiddens, Teaching a class and MESSY animals...

I had four boys in my class tonight... the most I've had in more than a month... My superior teacher lady says the boys misbehave during worship time... I haven't had a problem with them yet. They obey me "to a T", and oh, my goodness!!! I am SO proud of them! They ALL have the Bible verse memorized and this is only the second night we've had this one. (Romans 10:9, if anyone is interested.)

When we got home from Church tonight my dumb (Bless her lil' ol' heart.) dog had, umm... urinated... on the carpet. Wonderful thing to come home to, huh?

Today, I became an Aunt X3! My third nephew, how cool is that?!?!?
His name is Cedric Azariah, and he was 7 pounds 4 ounces, and he was born at about 4:03.

I have one of the most adorable kittens in the world in my lap at the moment...

The Office... Ch.2

Tuesday

They all come into work, against their better judgment.
There were no smiles, not really...

The fake smiles pasted on their faces gave them away...
They were scared, frightened out of their minds.

They all believed the lie, they even perpetuated the lie, the multiple lies, the endless lies.

As they went about their business, once again felling very relieved that my Mum came in to work today, they noticed something...
The environment of fear and guilt had escalated since Monday...

My mom asks for time off, this weekend...
Everyone is starting to dislike my mom, but it's their fault.
They won't tell her, no one will tell her!!

As they wondered around, attempting to do their assigned duties, they knew...
They knew, that when the weekend came, the lies...
Oh, the lies would begin the short trip off the pier into the bottomless ocean of truth.

(Stay tuned for more...)

The Office... Ch.1

Monday

There's something going on at the office...
No one will admit it, but its creeping slowly and surely.
They all go about their business like nothings wrong.

The short looks when they think nobodies looking,
The reticence of them, quiet and collected,
No one really acts like that...

They all sigh when my mum's around,
She scares off the impending doom.
They sigh with relief, then turn, so she doesn't see them.

She doesn't know...
They know she doesn't know, yet they don't tell her.
Why? Why? WHY?!?!?
Why don't they tell her?!?!?
She could save them, she sends them away, but if she knew, if only she knew...

As each employee leaves the office, they heave a sigh...
Finally, away, home, safety!
They relax as they walk to the car...
Digging in their purse for their keys, head bent, hands full...

They hear a noise, and jerk their head up...
They look, nothing.
They look again, once more, nothing.

They search frantically for the car keys...
...
...
...
SQUISH!!!
*GASP*
They look once more...
They see a shimmery reflection...
IT'S GONE!
They quickly get in the car, start it, and leave...

(No, not the office you're thinking of.)
(This was brought on by me volunteering at my mom's work. No, her fellow employees don't really act like this.)
